“Due to unforeseen circumstances it was not possible for me to have a portrait taken at this time, but I still very much wanted to be involved. It was then generously suggested by DaDa that I choose an existing image to be included.

I chose this particular one because firstly it was taken at All Points East, a music festival, as I was heading to see one of my favourite artists perform; and also because I was wearing a newly acquired T-Shirt which proclaimed ‘I Am Fucking Radiant’.

As many other Disabled People know, when you exist in the world as an obviously physically disabled person, you automatically get a lot of attention whether you want it or not. So I thought I might as well give people who stare something provocative to read at the same time!
